Kalynn Burrows, PA-C

Director of Clinical Care

Kalynn Burrows, PA-C, serves The CORE Institute as the Director of Clinical Care. She also supports HOPCo’s Value Based Care (VBC) Program with Dr. Damon Adamany, Chief Medical Officer of VBC.

 

Kalynn is a certified Physician Assistant, earning her master’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.

 

She started her PA career in 2013 as an Orthopedic PA with the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) at Huron Valley Hospital, then relocated to Arizona in 2014 to work alongside Dr. Steven Myerthall specializing in total joint replacement surgery at The CORE Institute.

 

Throughout her time with The CORE Institute, Kalynn has been the PA to Dr. Myerthall, Lead PA for the Mesa & Gilbert clinics, and CORE’s Lead PA on the Banner-CORE Co-management program at Banner University (BUMC-P), focused on the musculoskeletal hospital service line.

 

In 2023, she transitioned to the Director of Clinical Care, East Valley, overseeing APPs in CORE’s clinics in Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Mesa, and Gilbert. In addition to that role, she now also helps HOPCo advance their efforts related to the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN).

 

Outside of work, Kalynn and her husband, Dave, live in Phoenix with their two daughters, Makenna, and Raegan. They enjoy traveling, skiing, and camping.
