Kalynn Burrows, PA-C

Vice President, VBC Care Management

Kalynn Burrows, PA-C, serves as the Vice President of Value-Based Care (VBC) Care Management at HOPCo. She is a certified Physician Assistant, holding a master’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University.

She started her PA career in 2013 as an Orthopedic PA with the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) at Huron Valley Hospital, then relocated to Arizona in 2014 to work alongside Dr. Steven Myerthall specializing in total joint replacement surgery at The CORE Institute.

During her tenure at The CORE Institute, she held various clinical and leadership positions. She worked as PA to Dr. Myerthall, served as Lead PA for the Banner-CORE Co-management MSK Hospital Service Line Program at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix (BUMC-P), and was Lead PA for the Mesa and Gilbert clinics. In 2023, she transitioned to become the Director of Clinical Care.

As the Director of Clinical Care, she helped oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in CORE’s East Valley and Phoenix locations. In addition to that role, she also supported HOPCo’s Value-Based Care Program alongside Dr. Damon Adamany, Chief Medical Officer of VBC, prior to assuming her current role as Vice President in 2025.

Outside of her professional life, Kalynn lives in Phoenix with her husband, Dave, and their two daughters, Makenna and Raegan. Together, they enjoy traveling, skiing, and camping.
