Damon Adamany, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Damon Adamany, MD serves as Chief Medical Officer of Value Based Care for HOPCo. He is experienced in the development of evidence-based protocols and pathways and has a track record of leadership in value-based care networks by working closely with providers in a variety of practice settings across broad regions in programmatic and clinical outcomes improvements.

Dr. Adamany is a Board Certified and Fellowship Trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. Dr. Adamany’s clinical interests include treating chronic and acute hand conditions and injuries. His surgical approaches are Advanced Arthroscopy and other Minimally Invasive procedures.

Dr. Adamany completed his fellowship training at the University of New Mexico in hand and upper extremity surgery with advanced microvascular training. Prior to his fellowship, he completed his residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center, where he served as Vice President of the Mount Carmel Residency Forum. Dr. Adamany earned his doctoral degree from the University of Arizona, where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. He also earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Adamany has written and contributed several articles in academic journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery. He has also given numerous professional presentations at national academic meetings and other forums. In addition, he is committed to community service and education through volunteering with organizations such as Commitment to Underserved People, where he worked in various pediatric clinics and rural orthopedic clinics in Arizona.
